Ever since September 11, 2001 many of us have wanted to be more involved in our community. We’ve also hungered to get to know women of diverse faiths and cultures.
WTB offers the chance to sit with women of different traditions and share insights on a book each has read through our Book Club. Or perhaps your style is more active and you’d like to dig in dirt with Northsiders and refugees at our Community Garden. We also partner with a lot of metro Syracuse groups in Service Projects to help refugees learn to sew, or transport inner city students to and from college, or make sure children have warm scarfs and mittens for the winter.
