Some members of WTB have formed a Circle of Compassion. They have offered to include the concerns of other women in their meditations, chants, prayers, holding in the light or other spiritual practices. If you would like your concerns to be included in this circle contact one of these women. Betsy Wiggins, Danya Wellmon, Ann Eppinger Port or Jan Garman.
Every concern expressed will be held in strict confidence.

Guidelines for WTB Members Who Participate in the WTBCares Program
It is essential that WTBCares members protect the confidentiality of every person who sends an e-mail to the WTBCares Listserv. Under no circumstances may a WTBCares member share with anyone else, even another member of WTBCares, any information that was provided to her through a WTBCares e-mail. The only exception might be when an e-mail sender expressly asks WTBCares to share the e-mail’s information (for example, by stating that cards or notes or phone calls would be appreciated, and from whom); in that case, three of the four listserv owners must agree that the information may be shared. Failure of a WTBCares member to adhere to this WTBCares confidentiality policy will mean immediate removal of that member from the WTBCares Listserv.
WTBCares is a "Circle of Caring and Compassion." As such, only spiritual actions (such as private meditations, holding in the light, prayers, chants) are to be undertaken by WTBCares members. Under no circumstances may a WTBCares member offer advice or counseling of any kind regarding information that was provided to her through a WTBCares e-mail, even if she has been through similar trauma and would like to give the benefit of her experience. WTB is not a counseling entity; hence, counseling and advice-giving are clearly and decisively outside the purview of WTB and the WTBCares program, and no one can be allowed to engage in these or related activities. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY IMPORTANT RULE. Failure of a WTBCares member to adhere to this rule will mean immediate removal of that member from the WTBCares Listserv.
In the event that a WTBCares Listserv owner learns that a WTBCares member has committed an infraction of either or both of the above rules, the Listserv owner must immediately remove that member from the WTBCares Listserv; send written notification (e-mail is acceptable) to the Recording Secretary of WTB for inclusion in the Council minutes with the date that the action was taken; and send notification to the other WTBCares Listserv owners.
It is our hope that all persons who participate in WTBCares will respect these rules, so that WTB will be free to offer this spiritual help without worry that participants will overstep the stated parameters. If you have any questions about the necessity for these rules, please contact one of the listserv owners, and she will answer your questions or clarify your potential role in this service. We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
