Getting Involved
welcome07
A welcoming smile or a hug awaits you at our monthly meeting. Here Council member Sabra Reichardt (R) greets Mary Roderick.

Ever since September 11, 2001 many of us have wanted to be more involved in our community. We've also hungered to get to know women of diverse faiths and cultures. There is a place for you in this group.WTB is just the place to do that.

Here is general information on how you can become involved, in a small way, with a one-time project, or on a continuing basis with a committee or event. Click on any of the underlined type below for more information:

  • Membership: How to become a member
  • Mailing List: Receive our monthly e-mail missives and news blurbs
  • WTB Cares: a confidential circle of compassion in which you can agree to add the concerns of other women in your spiritual practices. This is also a place where you can share your concerns confidentially with this group
  • Join a Committee: Small groups work on meeting plans, service projects, diversifying the membership, funding, publicity and nominations.
  • Projects: Click the PROJECTS button at the top of the page to learn about how to become involved in our many service projects.
  • WTB Book Club: Read the book of the month and join other WTB women to discuss it. For information, contact Jennifer Crittenden at 633-2817 or Jan Garman at 446-4688.
  • Donate: Even a small monetary amount makes a big difference in what we can do.
